Professor Dr J Rama Tulasi is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Malla Reddy Institute Of Pharmaceutical Sciences affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad in 2009. Later, she pursued her Master of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Osmania University in 2012.

After completing her postgraduate studies, Dr Tulasi began her career as an Assistant Professor at a prestigious institute. She has also worked as an Associate Professor in other renowned institutes. During her academic tenure, Dr Tulasi has been actively involved in teaching and research in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry.

In 2022, Dr Tulasi earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
